Privacy Notice

Whitman Partners Inc., 600 North Westshore Boulevard, Suite 800, Tampa, FL 33609, United States, operates stairlift-install.com, and this notice applies to that site. Here we say what we collect, why we need it, who gets it and how you can use your rights.

Briefly: if you request quotes, your details go to up to three installers serving your ZIP code, and those installers may pay us for the referral. At any time, you can stop the sharing of your details on the Do Not Sell or Share page. Anything already sent stays with those installers, so if you want their calls to end, go to Stopping Calls and Texts.

Details We Collect

  • On a quote or listing form, you enter: the kind of stairs, any note, email, name, phone number and ZIP code.
  • A call to (888) 314-9397 gives us the caller ID for the phone used, the call time and length, plus audio when recording is on. A brief recording notice plays at the start of each call.
  • Our server logs hold your IP address, your browser type, the time and the page that was requested. They are kept for up to 90 days so the site stays working and safe.

Any ZIP code entered in the installer search remains in your browser and never reaches us. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and uses no third-party trackers.

Where Your Details Go

Our role is lead generation: if you request quotes, your details go to as many as three stairlift installers and dealers covering your ZIP code, so that they can get in touch about a quote. Those companies may pay us for the introduction. Service providers also host the site and manage calls and email for us, and their contracts restrict what they can do with your data. Your details are not shared for any other purpose.

Your Rights

The state where you live determines the rights the law gives you. Among the states with these laws are California (CCPA and CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas. No matter where a visitor lives, we honor the same requests:

  • See what we have on you and receive a copy.
  • Have it corrected.
  • Have it deleted.
  • Opt out of having your details sold or shared. It can count as a sale when installers receive your details for a fee. You can stop it at any time through the Do Not Sell or Share page.

Using a right will not change how we treat you. Someone you name in writing as your authorized agent can also send the request on your behalf.

Send a message to [email protected] and include the email or phone number you used. Requests are confirmed within 10 days and answered within 45 days. If we say no to a request, you can reply to our answer to appeal.

Stopping Calls and Texts

Installers who get your request may call or text the phone number you gave. Email us and we will tell each installer who got your request to stop. Reply STOP to any text, or let the caller know you want no more contact.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We hold quote requests and call records for 24 months before deleting them, unless the law requires longer.

Children

Only adults should use this site. Details from anyone under 16 are not knowingly collected by us.

Changes

A change in what we gather or in who gets it is posted at the top of this page. Details you already gave us will not be used in a new way unless we ask you beforehand.
