Choose “Add to my quote request” and your request names that installer. It reaches them if they accept requests through us, along with other installers covering your ZIP code, three at most. To reach just one installer, go through its Bruno or Harmar listing.

Bruno dealers covering New JerseyBruno groups these dealers by the ZIP codes each one visits, so the dealer confirms a visit when you ask.

This list comes from the dealer finders on the Bruno and Harmar websites; a company listed by both appears once. Each check mark is a service the manufacturer lists for that dealer, and labels such as Bruno gold or Harmar preferred are ranks the manufacturer gives its dealers. Franchises with several offices (101 Mobility, Amramp) show each office on its own row.

What Sets the Price in New Jersey?

What a new lift costs, fitted, tracks the staircase type far more than the state: check the cost table by stair type. Within New Jersey, curved rails come from 22 listed dealers, each rail made to measure for one staircase. Of the dealers listed, 11 hold Bruno diamond status, the top tier Bruno gives its dealers, while 6 hold Harmar preferred status.

Stair Lift Fitting in New Jersey: How It Goes

  1. Often free: a survey at home

The installer measures your stairs, looks for a power outlet close to the top or bottom, then gives you a price in writing.

  2. Ordering the lift

Straight rails are cut from stock, so fitting usually happens 1 to 15 days later. Allow 3 to 5 weeks for a curved rail made for your staircase.

  3. The day of fitting

A straight lift takes about 2 to 4 hours and a curved one 4 to 5 hours, and the fitter stays until the lift is working.

  4. Servicing and handover

The fitter walks you through the controls and safety stops. For repairs and yearly servicing, call the dealer who fitted your lift.
